Your history does not need to dictate your destiny. Dave will show you that past challenges and setbacks do not need to deter you from being the husband, father, friend, and leader you truly want to be. Using common situations that every man encounters, Men U offers courses that can reshape your decisions, relationships, and spiritual life, leading to a life that is really worth living.
As a female, and a non-religious one at that I approached this book with a fair amount of scepticism.
Surprisingly I found this book to be a valuable resource for the man who is at his wit's end with demanding children (a fact I can relate to), a frustrated wife, and a long hour, no appreciation job.
This book is full of wonderful advice on how to “deal” with a wife who is frustrated with children and housework all day and feeling unappreciated.
There are final exams at the end of each course with space for writing which I found to be a good idea for the male who likes to sum up what he's learned, or to have reference points when situations arise.
For me personally Men U: Courses for a Transformed Life is a little too heavy on the religious side, but taking into account the author's belief, to other religious people it would be a nice balance.
All in all I would recommend this book, particularly to the male who needs guidance in all aspects of his life.
