Reviews

Thoughtful and thought-provoking C. G. Ferrel's "Common Sense" give s us an opportunity to go within ourselves and contemplate our beliefs and attitudes toward life, actions, others, and mostly ourselves. Simply written, direct and to the point, each piece delves into a truth of our being giving insight of who we are, what we believe in and how we act or react through emotions.

As I sit here attempting to add more to the above paragraph I'm finding it hard to find the words of what else to say.  It took me several days to read all the poems because each one offered me a space for contemplation which I'm sure was the author's intent.

I encourage you to check out C. G. Ferrel's musings because I believe you too will find moments of thoughts that will be unlike you've had before.

A poetry book with many poems, providing insight to the different frustrations in a person’s life. From losing a job to faith related battles.

Poetry does not have to be written in the context of a happy domineer, but can be written in the true, mind set of what the writer is feeling at the very moment they decide to let the words flow through their figures and onto paper.

This Author does just that in his book of poems. Some related to others but, each having their own unique statement and purpose as well.

As new writer of poetry this Author's book has inspired me to put together my poetry just as they did and share it with the world as they did.

I firmly believe this form of writing through poetry is a great and inspirational way to connect with people on a different level. This author has done so through their own writing.

Recommend anyone who wants to connect with a person on a higher level of emotion to read this book.
