Reviews

Skip Watson has served time for a sex crime he didn't commit. He was railroaded by the judge presiding over his case in cahoots with his own attorney. Upon his release, Skip sets out to clear his name. Through the help of his parole officer, Joe Simon, he finds lodging at a halfway house.

Skip is hired to work evenings at the local grocery store with Toby Tufeather, a giant of a man who takes him under his wing after he learns Skip's story. When Skip is brutally assaulted by four ex-cons at the halfway house, Toby makes it his job to save his new friend.

Author Frank Anthony gives readers a story full of colorful characters and an interesting plot. Unfortunately, "Living Without A Life" reads like it was written without an editor. If readers are willing to overlook the lack of editing, they will most likely enjoy the mystery.
