“Attack in the Alleghenies: by William P. Robertson and David Rimer once again takes you into lives of Lightnin' Jack Hawkins, Bearbite Bob Winslow, Big Cat Will Cutler, and Alexander MacDonald. The second part to “Ambush in the Alleghenies”, is as alluring as the fist and will have you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. “Attack in the Alleghenies”, offers an in-depth look into the lives of the men we met in the first book, while giving a vivid account of the rugged life they endured during the 1700’s. Filled with daring plots, action, adventure, and heart “Attack in the Alleghenies” takes you on the journey as this group of mountain men faces everything from Indian Attacks to near starvation.

If you are looking for a book that is action packed and full of adventure, “Attack in the Alleghenies” is the book for you. A real page turner, that you won’t want to put down. The perfect gift for both teens and adults who love this era.

While many sequels to books are often portrayed in the same mind set as sequels to movies, as a poor attempt to continue a story. Such is not the case in this fantastic page turner!

With a twist in the plot that will make your skin have goose pimples during certain chapters, you will not be able to put this book down, if you are a lover of such a topic. The best part about it all is that although it is just a story, the events could very well have happened the way they are told in this book, and that is what makes this book so very interesting and exciting to read.
