Cinderella is a fairytale...

Love is the most powerful emotion that anyone especially women will ever experience in life and a fairytale love is what the majority of us actively seeks. If properly nurtured love can blossom and grow into a bewildering force that can enhance all it touches or love can become an all consuming negative force that will grow into a completely destructive force that harms those it touches. But how do you know the difference between real love, lust or obsession? The book Men and Sex Power Pleasure Pain by author C. Mikki presents a very real take on the power of the emotion of love.

In the book Men and Sex, Power Pleasure Pain by C.Mikki, the world of young and beautiful Jade Hamilton becomes a tangled web of love, deceit, betrayal and lust as she grows into a young woman. In this book the reader is given a front row seat to Jade’s journey into sexuality, love and betrayal which eventually brings her to the brink of her own self destruction. The man of Jade’s affection and lust is Andre Darnell Scott. Dre seems to be the man of Jade’s dreams; he is a sexual dynamo as well as loving, caring and giving. What else can a woman ask for? However, as their relationship progresses and the couple starts makes plans for their future together Dre disappears abruptly and that changes Jade from a young woman in love to an obsessed woman that learns to use her lust as a vengeful weapon against men and she indulges in wanton and ego crushing sexual behavior. Jade’s best friend Lisa also goes through her own love trials and tribulations but she handles things in a somewhat less physically destructive manner.

Not only does this book combine the drama and raw emotions of love accompanied by the ecstasy and pain that can sometimes come with it, but it also presents tantalizingly detailed scenes of sex that keep the reader wanting more. The characters in the story are interesting, charismatic and realistic. As you read you will find that you are genuinely interested in how the story plays out for these characters especially Jade. The book is nicely written and well detailed so that the reader can easily become engrossed in the story. There are however some minor editing mistakes that need to be addressed to bring this book to perfection. All in all I would recommend this book to adult readers that enjoy some spice with their drama.
