Sparrow and Swallow: A tale of Two Birds

Leeanne Bloomfield & Terry Sparrow

Sparrow & Swallow is a great book about two birds who are completely different become best of friends. They live their happy lives in their own nests until they are ready to live on their own. They soon make a special friend. When one friend gets into a bit of trouble it is up to her best friend to save her. They have alot of adventures which would be no fun without the other.

This book is great because it shows children that you dont have to be the same to be friends. Anyone can be friends if they try to enjoy theirselves. It is fun to discover just who you can find to be friends with. Curiosity and overconfidence can put you in danger and it is good to have friends that will come to you rescue. Every child needs this book as it is a great life lesson.
