| Military | Reviews of books focusing on military and war, either current or historical and may include experiences as well as points of view. |
| Mind/Spirit | Reviews of books focusing on the body, mind, and spirit dealing with personal growth, holistic lifestyles, and spirituality. |
| Multicultural | Reviews of books dealing with cultures and multicultures focusing on reality and real situations. |
| Music | Reviews of books with themes surrounding music including history or how-to. |
| Nature | Reviews of books focusing on nature in the physical world including anything on the earth or in the sky. |

| Religion/East | Reviews of books focusing on religions, including religious traditions, originating in India, China, Japan as well as Southeast Asia. |
| Religion/West | Reviews of book pertaining to Christianity including Protestant and Catholic beliefs. May include Occultism and Neopaganism. |
